In 2021 I was asked to develop a comic for girls magazine Tina, based on the concept of a girl who moves to Italy with her family to start a hotel (the original concept was fleshed out by Marloes de Vries).
Soon, Kiki was born. My husband Yiri and I took special efforts to make this comic, which appeared in installments of 5-page adventures about every month. We wanted to employ a high standard of drawing and coloring, reflecting the special atmosphere of the mountain region in Northern Italy.
